Lifelong learning
Education is perhaps one of the most important social activity in the life of human beings. The speed of world changes is requiring people to learn afresh throughout their lives. I suppose this is extremely important for those who stay in guard for future generations – teachers.
Lifelong learning is broadly defined as learning that is pursued throughout life and based on four 'pillars' of education for the future:
- learning to know
- learning to do
- learning to live together and with others
- learning to be.
Being a modern teacher I am constantly trying to be involved into lifelong learning activities. It helps me not to fall behind and be aware of present-day requirements. This process is tightly connected with my learners. I always share my success and achievements with them.
Here is a short list of my teaching progress but I’m sure it will get longer every year.
